GROWING PAINS (panosteitis)

Growing pains usually occurs in young dogs of large and giant breeds of dog. It usually starts at an age of 6-15 months. Some dogs outgrow this condition once thet rae 18 months or older. However it is a very painful condition. On X-ray the condition is clearly visible. You can see darker patches in the bone marrow. See illustration below: X-ray of femur.

The condition occurs because the bone grows too fast. This is a very intense process where the body forgets, as it were to fill up the hole in the bone. The fatty marrow inside the long bones degenerates and is replaced by bone cells. The blood flow inside the bone becomes congested. Usually several bones are affected at the same time. One day you dog is limping with his front leg, a few days later he may be limping with his hind leg.

The formula Rejoint in combination with essential oil for growing pains can help restore normal growth of the bone. Rejoint helps the development of the bone , the essential oil for growing pains stimulates blood circulation.

Rejoint is a very good alternative for corticosteroids, Prednison and pain killers like Rimadyl, Metacam, Cortafen, Brufen, and Ketafen. It has no side effects. Therefore, it can be given over a longer period of time.
